- We're an average American family trying to reach our financial goals while raising our kids at the same time. It's been said that cleaning house while raising children is like shoveling snow in a snowstorm. It seems to us that saving money while raising children is much the same! We have been blessed with good careers and wonderful opportunities, however, we're always working hard to earn enough to raise our kids and help them in their futures. Our family consists of me (A), my husband (R), our son (L) and daughter (E).
